Mental Health Therapist
Melissa brings a vibrant energy to everything she does, whether it's playing on the most fun softball team or dancing and singing in the grocery store to any upbeat tune she hears. Her true passion, however, lies in helping families live their best lives by making the journey of parenting both easier and more enjoyable. Starting her career as a preschool teacher in 2004, Melissa quickly realized her love for working with entire families. This passion led her to become a Family Support Specialist in 2009, where she worked across Montana supporting parents raising children with developmental delays and disabilities. Her commitment to family support continued to grow, culminating in a Master’s in Social Work from Walla Walla University in 2022, where she is now a clinical social worker candidate.
Specializing in parenting, child development, and supporting neurodiverse children, Melissa has extensive experience helping families navigate challenging behaviors and promoting positive discipline. She is also well-versed in sleep coaching and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, providing families with the tools they need to establish healthy sleep habits. In addition to her expertise in parenting programs such as Circle of Security and Parent Team, Melissa is passionate about providing therapy and education that is individualized to meet the specific needs of each family. At the core of her work is a person-centered approach, ensuring every family member has the skills and support they need to thrive.
