Marisa Thompson, MA, OTR/L
Marisa recently relocated to Missoula with her husband and is excited to continue her career as a pediatric Occupational Therapist at Moving Mountains Therapy Center. She was raised in southern Minnesota where she developed her passion for helping others through volunteering and working at summer camps to provide adaptive recreation for individuals of all ages. Marisa received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Saint Catherine University in 2011 and relocated to Colorado after graduation to begin her career at The Child Development Center of Colorado Springs. Marisa is experienced in working with children with a variety of diagnoses and medical conditions. She has gained specialized skills in sensory-based feeding intervention and sensory integration. Marisa strives to bring positivity to treatment and enjoys working with families to improve their child’s participation in meaningful activities. In her free time,she enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and snuggling up with a good book.
